Wrong target, man
As a Republican who is so left wing that I’m practically a Democrat, I find this column (“Mean Girls running GOP”) ridiculous and offensive. It is sexist, among other things. I have been welcomed into the Eagle County GOP with welcome arms, despite the fact that I support abortion, am against global warming, and also very much in opposition to the war in Iraq. Mr. Hassan makes many valid points, but certainly the fact that we are all on the same team, all Americans, should resonate with all reasonable readers. These children are our fellow citizens. They don’t have a voice.
If you want to vent your anger about illegal aliens and immigration do it in a more appropriate forum. Or better yet, write your elected official. The Senate is taking up immigration reform ” vent away! dcnoble
