Wisdom: Repeal open-space tax?

When the county voters passed this tax by a whisper, most of us believed land acquisition would be the end result and that the land would have public use. So far we have seen the Bair Ranch debacle, the $12 million gravel pit that looks, acts and feels like a gravel pit and now another (potential) payoff to some landowner … Can this tax be repealed?
Fix Timber Ridge
Vail is so focused on Vail Village and all the hotels and construction of more oversized homes of second-home owners, yet the housing for employees of the resort community is unsafe and unhealthy. No wonder it is getting more difficult to find and or keep quality employees in this valley.
