ASPEN, Colorado – An Aspen woman was hospitalized after falling 40 feet Sunday afternoon near Lincoln Creek, off Highway 82 east of Aspen.

The accident was reported around 1:40 p.m. Karen Sahn, 40, of Aspen, was rock climbing with three friends when the fall occurred, according to the Pitkin County Sheriff’s Office.
