BEAVER CREEK, Colorado ” Beaver Creek will receive a woman’s touch this weekend.

Women’s Health magazine will set up tents where skiers can receive free massages, mini-spa treatments and oxygen bar hits.

The second-annual “Mountain Mama” weekend brings a feminine mystique to the village.

New this year are St. Ives hand cream massages, chair massages and Wii games ranging from surfing to snowboarding.

Look for Women’s Health at four tents near the base of the Centennial chair lift. Magazine staffers encourage skiers, snowboarders and shoppers to retreat to the themed “lodges” for free treatments.

“We’re going to warm them up and make them feel relaxed,” Women’s Health marketing manager Sarah Williams said.

Beaver Creek is a great venue for the magazine because it attracts active women in search of a ski weekend, Williams added.

“Our readers are very active,” she said. “They like being outside. They’re into fashion. They’re into beauty, and Beaver Creek is a perfect venue for us to be there.”

Eagle-Vail resident Anna Boudreaux, 24, said she liked the idea of the video games.

“I like Wii Sports,” she said. “That’s pretty killer.”

Avon resident Jessica Kelman, 22, looks forward to the massages.

“I’m really excited. I would love a massage,” she said. “I’ve been waiting for a massage for two months.”
