Women’s issues on Nov. ballot
EDWARDS, Colorado How questions on Colorados November ballot will effect women and girls will be the subject of a community discussion held Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Singletree Community Center in Edwards. The meeting, organized by the Vail Valley Steering Committee of The Womens Foundation of Colorado, will feature Rich Jones, of the Bell Policy Center. Colorado voters will face one of the largest November ballots in state history, said Gretchen McComb, president of The Womens Foundation of Colorado. The meeting will cover Amendments 46, 48 & 56, Amendments 50, 51, 58 & 59 and Referendum O, McComb said. As president of The Womens Foundation of Colorado, an organization committed to ensuring the self-sufficiency of women and girls in Colorado, we must address these amendments and their stipulations, she said.
