Women’s small business conference today in Vail
VAIL — The Colorado Small Business Development Center Network will host the sixth annual Northwest Colorado Women’s Small Business Conference today at the Vail Marriott. This annual event features a day full of breakout training sessions, one-on-one consulting, local resources for female entrepreneurs and networking.
This conference is offered annually to help increase the sustainability and success of women-owned businesses throughout the region. The event promises to give female entrepreneurs new skills and insights in strategic planning, organizational processes, connectivity and marketing.
“Women start businesses at more than twice the rate of their male counterparts but often face additional challenges in securing financing and managing work-life balance,” said Kelly Manning, Colorado Small Business Development Center state director. “By providing women entrepreneurs consulting and resources in financing, marketing, operations and strategic planning, the (Small Business Development Center) works to increase the success of those women-owned businesses and help the entrepreneurs access a collaborative network of support.”
