Workshop on vehicle charging is Tuesday in Eagle
EAGLE — Refuel Colorado Fleets will hold a free workshop on electric vehicle charging equipment for fleet managers and for managers of multi-family residential properties.
The workshop is set for 10 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Eagle County Building, Garden Level Meeting Room, 500 Broadway in Eagle.
The featured speaker is Davin Jader, regional sales director for ChargePoint, operator of the world’s largest and most open electric vehicle charging network. The company operates more than 28,500 charging spots worldwide. Jader will explain how electric vehicle charge systems work, and show the various types of equipment available through ChargePoint. The company has just unveiled its newest charging system, designed for fleet and multi-family applications.
Matt Shmigelsky, energy coach with Refuel Colorado Fleets, will share information about Colorado’s Charge Ahead grant program for charging systems, as well as state and federal tax credits for electric vehicles.
“Fleet managers and property managers can learn about (electric vehicle) charging, and be prepared to answer questions they are likely to get as more people switch to plug-in electric vehicles,” Shmigelsky said. For more information, call 970-704-9200.
