Wreck closes I-70 East
EDWARDS, Colorado – Eastbound lanes of I-70 closed Sunday morning near Edwards after a semi-truck containing oil waste and byproducts was involved in a rollover accident, according to state and local authorities. Lightning and other safety concerns prevented immediate cleanup of the accident, and the closure was still in effect at 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, according to the Colorado State Patrol. Motorists were being rerouted onto eastbound U.S. Highway 6.
