Yes for open space

Robin Litt

This tax will allow the county to purchase key parcels of open space that (1) connect communities to trails and access to the backcountry, (2) enable working ranches to continue operating, (3) protect key river areas and wetlands and (4) protect wildlife habitat.

I value all that development has brought us here in the Vail Valley: the Vilar Center, the shopping and dining opportunities.

However, I will vote yes on 1H to spend a little bit of our tax dollars to preserve some key open spaces in our county; $14 per $100,000 in home value is a small price to pay for preserving the very reason so many of us moved to the community.

I urge you to join me in voting YES on 1H.
