Yoga Off Broadway hosts visiting yoga expert
Yoga Off Broadway announces the return of yogi Jim Keegan to the Vail Valley. He will be teaching a weekend of several different types of yoga asana and yoga lectures March 16-18. Keegan is the founder of Yoga Nirvana Studio in Tempe, Ariz. He has taught yoga in the East Valley of Phoenix for more than nine years. In addition to teaching at his studio, he also teaches internationally in workshops and retreats.Keegan has a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology and biomechanics. He served as the head yoga teacher at Arizona State University for nine years. Keegan will teach a total of five classes – the art of adjustments for yoga teachers and advanced practitioners, ashtanga improv, Thai massage, asymmetrical asana and nine obstacles on the path of yoga – over the three days.
