VAIL — Restore your sense of calm at the Vail Vitality Center on Friday, when yoga teacher Tracy Long leads the Vitality Center’s first Restorative Yoga Pajama Party. Attendees can wear their coziest jammies and join Long for a yoga practice supported by pillows and blankets.

“It’s been such a cold and snowy winter that every evening, I’ve found myself dying to get out of my clothes and into my jammies,” Long said. “I feel like I’m trading layers of protective outerwear for swaths of fleece and flannel coziness. It is transformative, and I instantly feel more relaxed and happier donning my PJs, and I bet other people feel this way, too.”

The two-hour workshop will combine yoga asana and meditation, inspired by classic and timeless bedtime stories. Attendees can expect to unwind, relax and renew themselves, Long said. Pajamas are required for this workshop, and the funniest or brightest pair will win a prize.
