Yoga workshops at Vail Cascade Friday, Saturday
Vail, CO Colorado
VAIL, Colorado – The Vail Cascade Resort Club will host two special workshops this weekend – one Friday, one on Saturday.
Celebrating Friday’s full moon, yoga instructor Trinity Wall will lead an hour-and-a-half class from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The workshop is open to all levels and challenge yoga practitioners of any background. Wall likes to incorporate fun, play and partner work into her classes.
“This class celebrates the feminine side of us all,” said Director of Yoga at Aria Club, Charry Morris. “Trinity has great energy and brings lots of fun to her classes.”
Following the practice, Vail Cascade Club will serve nachos, mussels and wine, which are included in the cost of the class. The cost is $15 for members or two for $20, and $20 for non-members or two for $30.
On Saturday, local yoga instructor Karen Anderson will lead a workshop focused on an introduction to yogic breath techniques. Anderson draws upon her background in meditation, yoga and breath work to inspire students.
“Through lengthening and smoothing the breath, we create calmness and lightness in the body; in holding the breath without straining, we create moments of stillness in the mind,” Anderson said. “This class will discuss why and how to practice breath work, and will go through the beginning practices in some detail.”
The cost is $20 for members or two for $15, and $25 for non-members. The workshop goes from 10 a.m. to noon.
