Vail Daily letter: Ticer for school board

I am writing to endorse Bob Ticer for Eagle County School Board. He has a Master’s of Education degree from Northern Arizona University and vast management experience.

Currently serving as chief of police in Avon, Bob has had many years managing large budgets, making difficult decisions that have required setting goals and prioritizing expenditures.

While living in Arizona, Bob served as liaison to the state Legislature, further developing the skills necessary to navigate many complicated processes. He is currently president of Edwards Rotary, vice president of the Eagle River Youth Coalition, and is a founding member of the Eagle County Law Enforcement Immigrant Advisory Committee.

With such a wide-ranging background with emphasis on management and budget, Bob is will be the perfect addition to the Eagle County School Board, and I strongly urge you to vote for him in November.
