Letter: How to deter speeding in Glenwood Canyon

The article in the Feb. 20 print edition of the Vail Daily discussing Glenwood Canyon crashes noted that camera ticketing was not mentioned. In my opinion, electronic signs saying “Camera Ticketing Through Canyon” (whether it’s being done or not), would be an effective deterrent to speeding drivers. Add a police car at either end of the canyon to emphasize law enforcement presence.
