Letter: Poor Vail Resorts
Poor Vail Resorts. The company discovered it owned some land it didn’t have to pay taxes on for decades. So it had to pay $35,000 to bring it current. Then the town of Vail forced Vail Resorts to sell it for only $17 million.
It’s a good thing the town has a conscience and decided to make it up to the corporation by assisting with developing a new base area.
West Lionshead will feature everything a developer would desire.
Sounds like a win-win for everyone except the public.
