Vail Daily letter: Asking for your vote

To our Vail voters,

My name is Ludi Kurz and on Nov. 3 I am asking for your vote. Most of you know me; a few of you may not. I am writing this letter today to let the community know why I am running for Town Council again. It’s not a decision I made lightly, and wasn’t something I was automatically going to do no matter what. My time on council has been a rewarding experience and one I have been proud of. I hope that this November voters once again give me the opportunity to serve and represent them on Town Council.

I am proud of the work I have done on council, from supporting infrastructure improvements for Internet, to fostering and supporting great events in town, to maintaining our status as a world-class resort community, creating jobs and growing our local economy.

There is still work to do. Vail faces its share of challenges, and my experience as a sitting council member makes me well suited for dealing with complex issues from housing to transportation to addressing aging infrastructure and community buildings.

I am asking voters to allow me to continue to serve this community. To all the residents who have contacted me over the years to share their thoughts, ideas and criticisms regarding our town and to all those who have supported me in the past: Thank you.
