Vail Daily letter: Bumpy road

I was wondering if anyone else that travels to Maloit Park to either the Vail Ski and Snowboard Academy, the Minturn Fitness Center or the residences there has as much trouble as I do driving the road with the ruts and potholes of packed snow. Seriously, it is like driving on a four-wheel drive road in places. Why can’t whoever maintains the road (does the snowplowing) come and clear this built-up packed snow when it is soft and can easily be plowed away? The way it is now, it gets soft during the day and then freezes at night, making it very rough to drive. I am surprised more people haven’t complained about this. I know this is beating up my car, can’t believe those who travel this road daily don’t have the same issues.

Hoping whoever is in charge of this gets the hint to please take care of clearing our road!
