Vail Daily letter: Go see Eagle’s visitor center

I read a lot about tourism in the area, but seldom anything about the Eagle Visitors Center. The staff there often serve as the first, and sometimes only, introduction to the area for thousands each year. Their knowledge of and enthusiasm for our valley make me smile.

I wonder how many of Eagle’s residents even know where the center is (on the way down to the fairgrounds). It not only has some great displays, but one whole room full of locally made crafts and art, some of which are truly beautiful.

I hope your readers will take a look at what those traveling through stop and see.
