Vail Daily letter: Historical inaccuracies

I am writing to highlight what I consider to be a glaring error on the part of the Vail Daily illustrations and graphics staff on the Presidents Day cover.

Both President Washington and President Lincoln are pictured with high-end performance skis.

Washington had skis, but they were homemade out of cherry wood. Lincoln was a snowboarder. I know you have heard of his passion for splitting rails, right? Proof, right there.
