Vail Daily letter: Make sure you’re visible

There are many people walking, running and even riding bikes at dusk or in the dark. As a motorist I cannot see you, especially at dusk. Most of the folks who are out there are wearing dark clothes. Please wear something reflective or bright, as our headlights can help us see you. If you are in dark clothes, we may not see you at all. As a driver, I watch very carefully for people walking. If you are walking, please walk against traffic — most of you do — and if you are on your bike, please go with the traffic.

Most important, please let us see you — anything reflective will work
