Vail Daily letter: McQueeney for commissioner

The ballot I mailed this morning indicates my vote for Jeanne McQueeney for Eagle County commissioner. Jeanne is committed to an Eagle County where all citizens thrive, and her vision will lead our county to excellence in all areas of our community. My experience in working alongside Jeanne for many years has resulted in my valuing her integrity, intelligence, follow through.

Jeanne “suits up and shows up” to her commitments. She tackles issues with an open mind and an in-depth perspective to the long-term effect of any decision she might be required to make. She is dedicated to working towards the best possible outcomes in any given situation. Jeanne is quick to offer her support and expertise in a time of crisis, and I find her willingness to be of service admirable.

I respect the time Jeanne is taking while campaigning to invite participation from voters to learn their concerns and what qualities they value in a county commissioner. The feedback she is gathering will be invaluable to her in the role of commissioner. I am confident Jeanne’s intelligence and integrity will enable her to make wise decisions that will benefit our community. I encourage you to vote for Jeanne McQueeney for Eagle County commissioner.
