Vail Daily letter: Nice drivers in Eagle
As one of the residents of Eagle who has had to commute through this summer’s significant road construction, I’d like to express my appreciation to fellow drivers for their patience and courtesy.
While I know most people in Eagle are excited about the new roundabouts, the improved traffic flow, and a gateway to the town we can be proud of, the months of traffic jams and long waits have been trying.
On my most recent commute to work, I took notice of the multiple instances of drivers letting each other in, waving hello, and generally being courteous and patient with one another.
In this world of instantaneous bad news and the celebration of incivility, it is reassuring to notice the abundance of human kindness all around us.
