Vail Daily letter: Thanks for help
The Vail Valley Art Guild would like to extend our thank you to Colorado Mountain College for hosting the inaugural “Jazz and Art” exhibit Sept. 2 at their Edwards Campus. The halls of CMC were adorned with art from many outstanding local artists — photographs, ceramics, watercolors, oil and more. We thank all the artists who exhibited and the many members of our outstanding community who attended. Many thanks to the Jeremiah Johnson Jazz Quartet and vocalist Mary Lynn Gillespie for providing the entertainment on this special evening. We particular we would like to thank Jeremiah Johnson, Katy Walker, Jan Attoma, Diana Scherr and Alice Beauchamp from CMC, Lynn Feiger and Marjorie Wilson from VVAG and all the volunteers for their dedication to making this exhibit not just a dream but a reality.
All unsold art remains on display on the first floor of the CMC Edwards campus until Oct. 17 and is open to the public from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
