Vail Daily letter: Van Beek for sheriff

Apparently more than one Stephen Smith lives in Eagle. To clarify for those who know me and may wonder, a letter in the Oct. 12 edition supporting Harvey for sheriff was not written by me. I’m voting for James Van Beek. (I’m the Stephen Smith who moved here in 1980 and worked with the school district for 34 years.)
