Vail Daily letter: Great steps for Habitat

What great news! Habitat for Humanity of the Vail Valley has acquired 12 additional building sites in Stratton Flats, providing a backlog of land for home construction with families in need through 2018! Many thanks to the town of Gypsum for their foresight and constructive working relationship in helping in this endeavor.

The acquisition of land for the continuing development of Habitat’s program is a most critical component — especially in this valley, where site costs are most often prohibitively high.

Congratulations to all involved for your perseverance and for your recognition of the importance to the community of the need for housing for families who provide such wonderful support for us all.
