Vail Daily letter: Tjossem, Bruno for Vail council
We would like to endorse Susie Tjossem and Jenn Bruno for the Vail Town Council. Both Susie and Jenn strongly embrace the fundamental core traditions of Vail but also understand that to remain competitive in this world we must continue to improve and modify the overall Vail experience. They both know that standing still is not an option.
First, Susie Tjossem has been an excellent council person; she is bright, does her homework and after appropriate reflection is willing to make difficult decisions. Her experiences in having held significant managerial positions at Vail Resorts and Booth Creek give her a fundamental understanding of what is critical to a successful business environment. Finally, as a longtime Vail resident and as head of the Colorado Ski Museum, Susie cares deeply about our community and the sport of skiing.
Jenn Bruno would also be a great addition to the Vail Town Council as she is reflective of the next generation of leadership. She would bring a youthful enthusiasm and new perspectives in thinking about our town’s future. Working with Jenn on the 2015 upcoming World Championships has given me great insights into her capabilities; she is extremely professional and would add a great local insight to the decision making of the Town Council. As a co-owner of two outstanding retail shops in Vail she brings a strong commitment to ensure that the economic health of Vail continues.
We urge Vail residents to give strong consideration to supporting Susie and Jenn, two great leaders to keep Vail on the top of our game.
