Vail Daily letter: Chandler-Henry for commissioner
We strongly support the re-election of Kathy Chandler-Henry for county commissioner. We’ve known Kathy for 25 years as a friend, as a parent of children in Eagle County Schools, as an involved and vital member of the Eagle community, as a consultant for the school district, and as a county commissioner.
Kathy is a smart, knowledgeable, hard-working, compassionate, and energetic woman of the highest integrity. While her resume is extensive and impressive, we want to highlight a few of her accomplishments and works in progress in the areas of health care and education.
Kathy has been instrumental in continuing the work of past commissioners, resulting in the opening of the Castle Peak Senior Care Center — the first of its kind in Eagle County. She has also been working closely with other current commissioners and elected officials to solve the problem of astronomical health care costs in Eagle County. She is a champion of affordable and accessible, quality early childhood education for our youngest members of the community. And, she is working closely with Colorado Mountain College so that college students will be successful in the workplace when they graduate.
We believe Kathy Chandler-Henry is the right choice for Eagle County. Please join us in casting your vote in favor of Kathy’s continued and important work.
