Local realty firm adds father and son team
VAIL — Onie and Rick Bolduc recently joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices as broker associates in the company’s Vail Village office. The announcement was made by Michael Slevin, president of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Colorado Properties.
Rick came to Vail to marry Michele, whom he met at college in Maine, in July 1978. The couple moved to the valley full-time one month later and quickly became involved with the real estate industry. After working in residential sales, Rick and Michele started Bolduc Realty Management in 1983, offering real estate sales, property management and homeowner association management throughout the Vail Valley.
In Vail, Rick and Michele raised two boys, Onie and Tyson. The family was involved with Ski Club Vail, where Rick served as a member of the board of directors for five years, and the Vail Hockey Club, where Rich was a coach for several years.
Thanks to a loyal client base, the management company grew and they sold their business to son Onie in 2007. In need of a break, Michele and Rick spent much of the next three years splitting time between Punta Mita, Mexico, and Vail.
Onie is a native of the Vail Valley, with more than 12 years of experience in the real estate business. Onie has played an integral role in nearly all facets of the real estate industry, including commercial and residential sales and management, tenant and owner representation, development and real estate investment.
“Both Onie and Rick not only bring a comprehensive background in real estate to our organization but also the highest level of professionalism,” said Slevin. “There are few aspects of the business Onie and Rick have not been involved in, which allows them to serve their clients with the utmost experience, knowledge and guidance. We are proud to be associated with them and look forward to helping them further their real estate careers.”
Rick is especially excited to be associated with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices and teaming up with his son Onie.
“This change allows us to bring a refreshing and vital view for experienced professional service and marketing to our many past clients and those seeking to sell or purchase property throughout this wonderful valley,” Rick said.
