COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado ” Battle Mountain outshot Regis, 6-3 in the first eight-minute overtime, but the state-championship hockey game is still tied at two going into double overtime overtime.

The Huskies got a power play early in the period when the Raiders’ Cline Taylor was called for boarding, taking down Battle Mountain’s Barrett Chow. Battle Mountain’s Jordy Coffey had the only shot of the advantage.

The Huskies got a scare when goalie Kalen Burnett lost his stick. Chow gave Burnett his twig and the netminder made a clutch save on Regis’ Tanner Ottenbreit.

Battle Mountain dominated the rest of the frame with Gustav Philpson, Taylor Beairsto and Jonny Stevens all getting shots.
