Something that I do personally to help my team achieve a team goal is try and keep everybody’s spirits up and cheer everybody on. I consider Eagle Valley High School and Glenwood Springs High School to be our rivals.Who’s the best leader on your team? I think that everybody on my team is a leader in their way. I always try to be positive so my teammates don’t get down and play badly.What do you eat before performing? I just want to make sure that by the end of this school year I will feel that I worked my hardest in school and achieved in the things I am capable of.What’s the best part about practice? I love when I do something really well in volleyball when I have been practicing it very hard. It feels good to have a really good spike after I have been working hard to improve my spikes.What’s something that you personally do to help your team achieve a team goal? To help my team achieve our goals, it is my job to make sure that I give all of my effort at both practice and games. It is important that I come prepared – with all my equipment, energy and concentration.What do you eat before performing? The night before a game I eat some type of pasta for dinner. This was suggested to me because pasta is a great source of carbohydrates. I also think it is very important to drink lots of water way before practicing or playing in a game.Who’s the best leader on your team? I love my volleyball team because everyone shows leadership. All of my teammates are so supportive.Water or Sports Drink? Water. But drinking Lemon-Lime Gatorade can be good luck.
