Beaver Creek extends lead, closes to finish

After holding leads of one, two and three minutes two days ago, Beaver Creek – Team Catlin broke free from Team Psycho Sunday in the Race Across America.
Beaver Creek – Team Catlin held an advantage of more than two hours at the the 51st time station late Sunday night. With less than 200 miles to go, Beaver Creek – Team Catlin was in solid position to claim another victory in the four-person division.
In the solo female rider division, Vail’s Kerry White continued to increase her average speed as she moved through Missouri Sunday. White, a type I diabetic, is the only rider left in her division, and had about 1,200 miles to go Sunday night.
