SNOWMASS VILLAGE, Colo. – Olympic gold medalist Bode Miller says he hopes to make a decision concerning his career by the end of the summer.

Miller of Franconia, N.H., said myriad factors will play a role in his decision, including whether his young daughter can venture over to Europe while he’s competing on the World Cup circuit.

His plan is to reach a decision before the U.S. Ski Team’s preseason camp in August.

The 32-year-old Miller captured the gold medal in the super-combined at the Vancouver Olympics, along with earning silver in the super-G and bronze in the downhill.

Miller was in Snowmass, Colo., on Wednesday to take part in a winter sports clinic for disabled veterans, joining them on the slope and offering up tips.
