An all-night bargaining session has resulted in a five-year contract for Ryan Clady, the Broncos’ first-round draft pick.
The deal, worth $17.5 million with $11.5 million in guarantees, didn’t get hashed out until early Friday morning after continuous talks between Clady’s agent, Pat Dye Jr., and the Broncos front office bridged substantial gaps that existed even Thursday night.
Now that Clady , the 12th selection overall, has a signed contract, he will be on the field for the Broncos’ first training-camp practice at 11:15 a.m. Friday
The Broncos signed second-round pick Eddie Royal on Thursday, meaning all nine picks in April’s draft are in the fold and will be on time for camp.
Clady is expected to be the starting left tackle for the Broncos.
