Broncos don’t see Marshall being distraction

Mike Klis
The Denver Post

There may be many reasons the Broncos could ultimately change their position and trade Brandon Marshall.

Perhaps they could trade him because of his sulky attitude. Or maybe they could trade him because of a hip injury that forced Marshall to miss the team’s two light practices Tuesday.

The Broncos could trade him since, with the additions of Jabar Gaffney, Brandon Lloyd and rookie Kenny Mc-Kinley, plus the return of Eddie Royal and Brandon Stokley, the Broncos’ stable of wide receivers is talented enough to produce without Marshall.

Or they could trade Marshall for no other reason than he wants to be traded.

But the Broncos do not necessarily have to trade Marshall because his general unhappiness would become an infectious cancer spreading through the locker room.
