Broncos’ Marshall back at practice

The Denver Post

Brandon Marshall returned to the Broncos on Sunday, his team-imposed suspension for detrimental conduct officially lifted after he spent nine days away from the team’s Dove Valley facility.

The Broncos’ most productive wide receiver a season ago arrived early for the team’s 8 a.m. meeting and participated in the first practice in preparation for the season opener Sunday in Cincinnati.

Does anyone believe Marshall, who has twice issued a trade request, is now ready to fully commit to playing for the Broncos?

“I hope so,” cornerback Champ Bailey said after the team’s final preseason game Thursday.

Marshall’s hopes for a trade may be dwindling as the season draws closer. An NFL source reiterated Sunday that the Broncos are not planning to trade Marshall.
