Club fittings available at Cordillera
CORDILLERA – D’Lance Golf Performance Center will be conducting high-tech club fittings from their mobile fitting trailer at the Cordillera Valley Course, from May 15-20.The fitting technicians from D’Lance Golf will be offering full-fitting sessions for woods, hybrids and irons. Golfers will be able to test their clubs on TrackMan to determine ball speed, smash factor (a measure of equipment efficiency), launch angle, spin rates, carry distance, and descent angle. From this information the D’Lance Golf fitters will make recommendations as to proper head design, shaft specifications and ball to play to achieve better performance. D’Lance Golf uses a three-step process in their complete club fitting. First, the golfer’s existing set of clubs is tested to determine club flex, weight, swing weight, loft and lie. Next, the golfer’s capacity to load the golf shaft during his or her swing is tested to determine the appropriate shaft flex, weight, swing weight and tip stiffness. Finally, the golfer will test different heads on the correct shaft using a unique club connection system. Fittings are done for Adams, Callaway, Cleveland, MacGregor, Mizuno, Taylor Made and other manufactures. To reserve a time for a complete club fitting, call the Cordillera Valley Course pro shop at 970-926-5950, or sign up online at http://www.dlancefitting.com. A complete fitting session normally costs $300, however, as a special promotion for the Cordillera Golf Club, a full fitting session is being offered for only $200. A $150 deposit is required. Fitting sessions are available to non-members on a space-available basis. For detailed information contact call Dan Sueltz at (303) 730-2848.
