Club raffling off Notre Dame tix

Special to the DailyThe Notre Dame Club of Vail is raffling off tickets to this year's game between the Fighting Irish and Pitt in November. The proceeds from the raffle, which takes place Sept. 5, go to the club's scholarship fund for local students.

VAIL, Colorado ” While local college football fans may be gearing up for Sunday’s Colorado-Colorado State game, it’s important to remember that Eagle County has partisans from all over the country when it comes to their alma mater.

And the Fighting Irish have a presence here with the Notre Dame Club of Vail which will be gathering to watch the blue and gold on Saturdays. The club is also raffling off 10 pairs of tickets to Nov. 1’s Notre Dame-Pittsburgh game in South Bend, Ind., on Sept. 5.

The proceeds of the raffle will go to the club’s scholarship fund for students of Eagle County.

The first 50 to contribute $100 to the scholarship fund will be eligible to participate in a drawing for the opportunity to purchase a pair of tickets at face value of $65 each.

Send your name and phone number, together with a check for $100 to the “Notre Dame Club of Vail’s Scholarship Fund” to the club’s West Vail Office at 2271 North Frontage Road, Vail, 81657, or just go to Morter Architects located above West Vail First Bank.
