Devils lax routs Clear Creek
IDAHO SPRINGS — Eagle Valley boys lacrosse roared back into the win column with an 11-1 win at Clear Creek on Saturday.
The Devils improved their record to 4-7 this spring.
“It was a great win,” Devils coach Boomer Devlin said. “The guys played well and their confidence grew. This was a chance to sharpen our offense. It was good to see them put up double-digits.”
Permanent Place?
Freshman Kenny Rindy has been coming off the bench, but he got the start on Saturday. Four goals and an assist later, he may be on his way to earning a permanent job. Jared Salaz had a hat trick to go with two assists. Finn Blomquist had two goals and two assists, while Keaton Fedrizzi found the net and had two helpers. Freshman Koby Beaumont also had a goal.

Devils goalie Spencer Burwell ended the day with the win and five saves.
Eagle Valley finishes the season with home games after spring break. The Devils host Steamboat Springs on May 3 and the Vail Mountain School on May 5.
“We’re coming together,” Devlin said. “We’re having a good season and peaking for sure. We’re ready for stiff competition during the last week of the season. It seems like anyone can beat anyone this year.”
