Eagle River Run a success

The first annual Eagle River Preserve Fun Run and Walk was a big success Saturday. With almost 50 adult participants and 15 kids, the event was run along the Eagle River under clear, blue Colorado skies.

Race participants and family members got the opportunity to see for themselves what the preservation effort is raising funds to protect: a lush, green, riverfront property accessible to all Eagle County residents.

And with the restoration project currently being undertaken by B&B Excavation, these precious 72 acres will be a swath of fresh, green, unspoiled Colorado for all to enjoy for all time.
