Eagle Valley spikers sweep Roaring Fork

GYPSUM — Eagle Valley volleyball upped its record to 10-4 overall with an easy 25-9, 25-13, 25-17 win over Roaring Fork.

The Devils (4-2 in conference) finish the first round of league play today, visiting Palisade.

That is three in a row for Eagle Valley.

“We need to continue to play our best to ensure that we will be participating in the postseason,” Devils coach Lindsey Myers said. “I definitely think with every team we see again we’ll be using more tactics to find their weaknesses and play off our strengths.”

Of interest in the second round of Slope play would be a trip to Steamboat Springs on Oct. 11 and to Battle Mountain on Oct. 16.
