Devils split with Demons
Eagle Valley baseball bounced back from a 3-2 loss by defeating Glenwood Springs, 9-2, to earn a doubleheader split on Saturday against the Demons.
Joe Rivera and Jake McGinty split the duties on the mound, allowing just one earned run. Tyler Greear was the big boddy at the plate, going 4-for-4. He had two RBI as did Garrett Martin.
Eagle Valley (6-7 overall and 5-3 in the Slope) hosts Battle Mountain on Tuesday.
