EagleVail Golf Club ends league season with Club Championship tournament

Makena Thayer and Kevin Austrian claimed Club Championship wins to end the Eagle Vail Golf Club league season on Aug. 28-29. Thayer shot a two-round total of 155 (78-77) and Austrian shot 146 (72-74) to take the titles.

The men’s and ladies leagues run from June 4 to Aug. 29 and are open to any golfer with an active USGA handicap “and a desire to compete and have fun,” according to the EagleVail Golf Club website. The ladies league runs every Tuesday; mens league is on Sundays. Both include a combination of both individual and team formats.
