STEAMBOAT SPRINGS – With the competition season in full swing The Ski and Snowboard Club Vail Freestyle team has been very busy lately.

Last weekend the junior aged (13 and older) mogul skiers as well as several members of the SSCV Freeride Team were in Steamboat Springs for the third stop of the season in the Rocky Mountain Freestyle tour. In Saturday’s Junior Mogul competition Heidi Kloser of Vail racked up another top-five finish ending up in fourth place overall and first place in the J3’s. Kelsey Teran of Boulder was right behind with her a great second run to move into fifth place overall and second place in the J1s.

On the men’s side, Matt Dillon of Wolcott continued his success this season with an eighth place overall finish and fifth in the J1s. Fourteen-year-old Matt White of Edwards skied to a 17th place overall finish and first place in the J3s. Complete results are available at http://www.rockymountainfreestyle.com.
