Gore Rangers beat Titans in three games
CRESTED BUTTE – Vail Mountain School continued its winning ways Friday night. The unfortunate victim this time: Crested Butte.The Gore Rangers won 25-14, 25-14, 25-13, despite starting the match more than two hours later than scheduled.”We played incredible,” said coach Mike Garvey. “They came out focused and played some of the best ball they’ve played all year.”Vail Mountain used a balanced offensive attack to pull away from the Titans.”We had smart choices in attack,” Garvey said. “Even when we were out of the system, we did a good job of communicating.”Today, the Gore Rangers have their Homecoming game at 4 p.m. against Ridgeway at the Garven.Eagle Valley beats Montezuma-CortezCORTEZ – The Devils walked over the Panthers, 41-7, to improve to 3-1.
