Huskies soccer blanks Palisade

EDWARDS — Ho-hum. Another win for Battle Mountain soccer.

Battle Mountain blanked Palisade, 5-0, Saturday, completing a three-win week within the Slope. The Huskies are 7-0 overall and 6-0 in league.

Sophomore keeper Jack Skidmore got his first varsity shutout, and the Huskies have netted goose eggs in their last four outings.

Brandon Osorio had two goals, while Pedro Hernandez, Aaron Milligan and Roberto Diaz also found the onion bag.

“Pretty tidy,” Huskies coach David Cope said, using one of his favorite expressions.
