Memorial service for ex-Broncos coach Stan Jones

DENVER – A memorial service is being held for former Denver Broncos defensive line coach Stan Jones, who died last month from complications of heart disease.

The service is being hosted at the National Western Stock Show Complex Friday evening. Jones was an NFL Hall of Famer who played as a lineman for the Chicago Bears in the 1950s and ’60s. He coached for more than two decades, including 18 seasons with the Denver Broncos.

He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1991. He was 78 when he died.
