Saints Homecoming spotlight: Chris Schmidt

Chris Schmidt looks like a receiver. His lanky, 6-foot-2, frame helps him reach over defenders to snatch passes thrown his way. Schmidt plays a key role in Vail Christian’s shotgun attack. Quarterback Larry Cavanaugh often looks his way when the Saints need a big play. It’s working. This season, Vail Christian is 5-1 (5-0), and can clinch the Central League title with a victory over North Park on Saturday.

Schmidt dishes on his on keys to victory on Saturday, and his favorite TV show.
