Three Ski and Snowboard Club Vail snowboarders brought home multiple top-10s from the 2024 FIS Slopestyle and Big Air Junior World Championships, held in Mottolino Livigno, Italy last month.
Brooklyn DePriest won the slopestyle gold medal on March 26 and placed ninth in the big air competition on March 30, while 14-year-old Lily Dhawornvej placed fifth and sixth, respectively, in the two events. Her older brother, Caleb, was 15th in the slopestyle and 20th in the big air event.
Lily Dhawornvej has eight top-10s on the NorAm circuit this year, including a second-place finish in the slopestyle event in Aspen on March 17. She sits fourth in the overall NorAm Cup standings.
