Ski and Snowboard Club Vail’s Carver Corps wins crown

VAIL ” Last weekend, the Youth Ski League Championships were held on Vail’s Golden Peak, and Ski and Snowboard Club Vail’s Carver Corps eam walked away with the season title

“All of our athletes trained hard and skied well all season long,” head Carver Corps coach Ray Jay Benoit said. “The camaraderie within the team helped motivate them to achieve this awesome award. I’m really proud and happy for them.”

Also, the day before the YSL race, five SSCV Carver Corps athletes had podium finishes at the Nastar National Championships in Steamboat Springs. Samantha Trudeau, Brianna Trudeau and Gus LeBlanc placed first, while Max Bervy and Katelin Hennum had third-place finishes.
