The Eagle-Vail Golf Club starts season-pass sales

EAGLE-VAIL ” Eagle-Vail Golf Club, which features plenty of elevation change, water on 12 holes with the Eagle River and Stone Creek and a stunning stretch of finishing holes in an aspen grove, is offering preseason price breaks on season passes for Eagle-Vail and Eagle County residents from now through opening day, scheduled for May 1.
Regarded as a golf experience in the Vail Valley, the course is central to all amenities and activities, including the Willow Creek par-3 course, public swimming pool, tennis courts and parks in the Eagle-Vail neighborhood.
This season Eagle-Vail Golf Course has a new driving range ball machine that now accepts cash and credit cards, as well as a new fleet of 72 Club Car Precedent golf carts.
“Times are tight, and Eagle-Vail Golf Club is perfectly situated to make golf accessible to everyone, from beginners to the hard-core golfer, locals and vacationers,” said head professional, Ben Welsh. “With our outstanding 18-hole mountain course, public practice facility, the par-3 course, and public swimming and tennis right here in the neighborhood, we provide recreation for the whole family at very reasonable prices.”
Until May 1, Eagle-Vail residents can buy a season pass for $695, $30 savings, and Eagle County residents for $725, $50 off. Junior passes cost $250 for Eagle-Vail residents and $325 for Eagle County residents in the early season, a $25 savings. Families also save in the preseason sale at Eagle-Vail, with Family Passes discounted to $1500 for Eagle-Vail residents and $1600 for County residents.

Eagle-Vail has created three new passes this year for aficionados, visiting families, and league players.
For the avid golf enthusiast, there’s Eagle-Vail’s new super value pass, which includes unrestricted golf, use of a cart, range membership key, a new incarnation of the old range with a $40 credit, bag storage, Eagle-Vail gift pack, 15 percent discount on pro-shop merchandise and discounted guest rates for $1,950.
The weekly value pass is handy for families visiting the valley with unlimited golf for one person and swimming for the rest of the family at Eagle-Vail for $299. The pass must be used over seven consecutive days.
League participants get a break with the $400 value season punch card, valid only for league play during peak season but still valid during the fall value season through closing.
Eagle-Vail has reduced the price of its popular 10-round punch pass for 2009 to $600 for Eagle-Vail residents, $650 for county residents and $750 for others . The cart is included
